Happy National Dog Day… not sure when this became a thing, but I like it! This day made me realize that I haven’t posted any of our puppy pictures from when we picked up Stoni. This was an emotional time for us because just a few months before, our boxer Gemma passed away at the age of 5. It was a freak thing and honestly made me question getting another boxer at all. If you are a boxer family then I’m sure you understand what I’m saying. Once you get on the Boxer train, there is nothing else that even comes close to their personality. This sweet girl has flipped our house upside down, but she is the sweetest and softest boxer we’ve ever had. White was something I never wanted and now I know why. I wear black pretty much every day and there is no getting those white hairs off of you. No outfit is complete without some dog hairs! Lol. Stoni Skolnick is now 9 months old – she went into heat the morning she was supposed to get spayed. What a crazy ride that was… diapers, blood and the whole enchilada. Eydie, I have no idea how you do this with so many boxers. She is very intelligent, challenging, a great snuggler and her side eye kills me every time. I am so thankful she came into our lives when she did and filled our broken hearts with such immense love!
