I am a South Florida Documentary and Lifestyle Photographer and Videographer. A rare breed – I’m native to Florida. My given name is Katharine, but since I was born my brother dubbed me KK! I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. My entire family is from Massachusetts, so in addition to loving the Dolphins, I root for the wicked awesome Red Sox and the Patriots by way of birth. 

I am inspired by my daughter’s imagination, antique finds and beautiful abandoned wonderlands. I believe that family comes first, and I want to document those fleeting moments. What I love are the everyday moments, especially when you don’t think anyone’s watching and I’m there to capture your life in real time!

After graduating with two degrees, one in digital media and the other in web design/marketing, I decided to ditch corporate America and move to Key West! I then moved to NY for a time and traveled to some spectacular places like Portugal and Spain. I love being a wanderer in new places and will travel for a session.

 

Food and other obsessions: I make a sick chimichurri. I am obsessed with all things Italian (obvi), french fries and I can’t live without coffee. Yogi for decades and most mornings you can find me at the gym. If the weather permits, I’m most happy on the water with my friends and family.

For many years, I’ve volunteered as the Marketing Director for Palm Beach Recovery Coalition, Inc., a Florida Not-For-Profit charitable organization which is dedicated to providing support services and living accommodations for men suffering from substance abuse related disorders and homelessness.

If I am not creating, I am hanging with my baby daddy, my beautiful daughter and my Boxer-baby Stoni.
