This was my last newborn session before the madness began and I’m finally getting the chance to blog about this little baby boy named Silas who was 12 days new. Being a full time teacher and daycare provider has definitely had its challenges to get work done. When I first met my fellow natives, I knew I was with my local peeps and this session was going to be awesome! Mom was super laid back and gorgeous just having had her second child. I never looked that good after having my daughter and I even had my hair and makeup done for our newborn session. Lol
This session started off like most of my newborn sessions with a baby in a basket so I can get him nice and comfy to fall asleep. Silas has a big sister Arlyne (3 years old) and she was so incredibly cute. She reminded me of my daughter at that age and her inquisitive nature. She even took my camera at one point to help me document mommy feeding her new baby brother. Dad is also a creative so we had some fun with some old army gear from a family member and some of his military items. This is going to be a great post for the Fourth of July!
I hope everyone is staying safe and not losing their minds staying at home with the young ones. This is hard on everyone and especially those on the front lines. Thank you so much to all of the medical professionals out there and first responders for keeping us safe. You are all doing your best to help the world in this time of darkness and you are very much appreciated!
