What a difference a year makes. Last year dropping off my daughter Kalena I was an absolute mess. I know for most parents taking their little ones to Kindergarten it was an emotional roller coaster. This year was a very different experience for all involved. Kalena was nervous, but she was also excited to see her friends from last year. My hubby and I are so happy with her teacher this year and a bonus she’s a dog lover – score! Watching her confidence yesterday filled me with pride that we are creating a self-reliant little human. It’s a bittersweet moment for both of us. I hope all the kids going back to school this week are thriving as well. For the parents, I am excited for all of you to get a break from summer camp duty and find some alone time for yourselves. Even if it is just a bathroom break!
